	Very mean and sinister main character.

	11 Metropolis : Fritz Lang
	Spectacular settings, remarkable vision of the future.

	10 Midnight Express : Alan Parker
	You can really feel the mood of absolute helplessness
	that slowly takes posession of the main character
	and reduces a complex individual. One man's instinct
	for self preservation.

	9 Dead Ringers : David Cronenberg
	I'm always looking for the point where the story tips
	into that nightmare of personality loss. Jeremy Irons
	is amazing.

	8 Eraserhead : David Lynch
	One of the saddest movies I have ever seen.

	7 Salo - 120 Days of Sodom : Peire Paolo Pasolini
	Shows violence in a very shocking way, without having
	obvious moral ambitions. Reveals power-structures and 
	how they influence relationships between human beings.

	6 Jacob's Ladder : Adrian Lynn
	If you see this movie for the first time, you immediately
	want to start again after it's finished - it twists
	your mind.

	5 Brazil : Terry Gilliam
	Impressive decor, good story.

	4 Taxi Driver : Martin Scorsese
	Roberd De Niro, Jodie Foster. I simply lover stories 
	about crazy people.

	3 The Thing : John Carpenter
	The mother of modern horror movies (Hellraiser etc).
	Oppresive, tremendous special effects.

	2 Blast of Silence : Allen Barron
	Very atmospheric, cool mood, good soundtrack, 
	inevitable ending, economical staging.

	1 Resevoir Dogs : Quintin Tarantino
	Fantastic actors, excellent dramaturgy, longest and
	hardest dying seen I have ever seen in a movie.
	A very significant film!

	Never, ever have I seen such a beautiful selection
of films. I defy anyone to come up with a celebrity list
which has more modern classics than this (and I don't mean
