You can cram a lot into a line.
Here's a project to do it thousands of times.

"The ability to quote is a serviceable substitute for wit."
-- W. Somerset Maugham (1874 - 1965)

I started collecting one-liners in 1990, but stopped in 2000 when I needed to spend all my time in my startup. The archive of that effort now resides in my attic.

In 2003, Ari -- my partner-in-one-liners -- reminded me why I missed this project, so I've decided to make a archive here of new additions.

1990-2000 or, The First Decade (note: 2.2 Meg text file)
2001-2003 or, Restarting The Project (41k file)
2004-2007 or, Music For Transitional Periods (22k file so far)
